Join us for an inspiring evening where creativity meets technology as you learn the fundamentals of building a beautiful Wix website that showcases your work, tells your story, and helps your business grow.

This beginner-friendly workshop focuses on the Wix Editor, making it perfect for creative entrepreneurs who want to build a professional website without learning to code.

During this interactive workshop, you'll learn the basics of:

• Choosing the right pages for your website

• Creating a simple brand guide with your colors, fonts, and imagery

• Uploading and optimizing catalog and portfolio images

• Setting up an online shop with products, pricing, shipping, sales tax, and payment processing

• Setting up online booking for appointments, classes, or services

• Writing website content and applying basic SEO so Google can find your business

• Organizing your website so visitors can easily browse and take action

  
  

Whether you're creating your very first website or refreshing one that's ready for a little magic, you'll leave with practical skills you can begin using immediately.

💻 Bring Your Familiar

You're invited to bring your own laptop and follow along as we build together. Prefer to simply watch, listen, and take notes? That's perfectly welcome too. You'll leave with plenty of ideas and a clear roadmap for creating your website when you're ready. Wi-Fi access and electrical outlets will be available; however, attendees are responsible for bringing any necessary chargers or adapters and ensuring their device is in working order. Course attendees are encouraged to arrive by 5:30 to setup their workspace — class will begin promptly at 6pm to be respectful of class participants and our gracious hosts at The Ruby Tree.

Class size is intentionally limited to provide plenty of individual attention and accommodate those working on laptops.

Lynn Ciecierski is the founder of The Wix Doctor, a Connecticut-based website design and marketing agency helping entrepreneurs transform their ideas into engaging online experiences. (and yes—she's often called the website "Witch" Doctor)

With more than 25 years of professional experience in graphic design, branding, website development, and digital marketing—and as the former owner of a fine art gallery—Lynn understands the unique challenges artists and makers face when promoting and selling their work.

Her workshops blend creative thinking with practical, real-world strategies, empowering participants to build websites that not only look beautiful but also support meaningful business growth.
